Nestled behind the much more popular Chatfield State Park lays the lesser known Roxborough, filled with amazing rocks and photo opportunities this place shouldn't be missed.
When I first got to Roxborough I was astounded by the sheer size of the dramatic red rock formations that line the park. After surveying the history at the visitors center I then went around the hiking trails that surrounded the rocks, and boy was it a fun time. I highly recommend anyone in the area to come check out the park, the entrance fee is only 5 dollars!
